Omega 18K gold watch cal. 283 case ref. 2686 c.1953. Rare larger size solid 18K gold case with oversize bezel and small angular lugs, signed Omega, 18K 0.750, stamped case ref. 2686 in excellent condition with just one tiny dent to the left hand side of the case. The dial is original in silver with hand rivetted gold batons and matching hands. The condition is pristine with no significant ageing or marks. The crown appears to be original with embossed Omega logo and minor plate wear only. The crystal is polished and free from blemishes. The movement is a calibre 263 manual wind 17J based on the famous 30T2 military calibre, renamed the 260 series in 1949. It has been serviced and time checked by ourselves. Currently fitted on a Hirsch black leather strap.
