A very attractive JW Benson ladies watch from 1953 with a solid 9ct gold double hinged case. Original silver dial with black ink lettering, nicely aged to a yellowy colour, signed JW Benson, London. The gold case is in excellent condition, the hinges are sound and there a just a couple of very minor creases to the rear of the case. The inner case back is hallmarked 9. 375 for imported to Glasgow dated 1953. The movement is a Swiss 15J full lever with gold settings for the jewels in exceptional condition and has just been professionally serviced. Watch measures 25mm in diameter. Presented on a 10mm Calfskin leather strap and in one of our presentation boxes.
