Just to say that the watch arrived safely this morning. The photo did not do it justice - the watch is exquisitely finished and in beautiful condition. It has a very finely milled edge which contrasts beautifully with he polished case. The crown is slightly tapered so that its partial concealment in the case does not prevent it from being easily gripped. It occurred to me that when it is viewed side on it has a slightly \'flying saucer\' appearance which may have been consciously or unconsciously influenced by the pre-occupation with space travel at the time. The condition of the original strap is wonderful - one would be forgiven for wondering if the watch had ever been worn. It also reminds me of a watch my father wore in the 60\'s. Many thanks for such a prompt and professional service.

Dear Mr Armstrong, I just wanted to let you know how pleased I am with the 1960s Eterna-matic I bought from you on 27th June. Firstly, I was impressed with your very punctual despatch of the watch, and its equally prompt arrival (at very reasonable postage cost). Secondly, it seems to be in excellent refurbished condition, and looks even better than the photos. Lastly, I bought the watch because I wanted a well-made, but simple and under-stated men's dress watch. This watch made no claims of being a chronometer, even when it was new, 40 or 50 years ago. Nor did you make any such claims. So I imagined it would probably be accurate to within a few minutes per day, which is perfectly adequate for the occasional evening out.
